My oldest daughter is a dancer and loves to watch Dance Moms. The girls have been looking forward to the new season all day today. Me, not so much!
Loving...
Last year winter decided not to come to Indiana. It's back!!! We've had snow on the ground since December 21st and I love it!!
Thinking...
Winter Break is supposed to be two weeks long! That's the way it has always been since the beginning of time, right? Wrong! Someone (and I'm not sure who) decided that we only needed 7 school days off this year instead of the usual 10. Why???
Wanting...
This time last week most of Indiana was under a blizzard warning. It was wonderful! I love the anticipation of a big snowstorm and the possibility of a snow day!
Needing...
I started working on three products right before break. I finished one of the products but the other two are at a stand still. Hopefully getting back on a schedule will motivate me to finish them.
OLW...
Breathe! Sometimes I get so wrapped up in everyday life that I forget to take time to enjoy the little things. I'm going to remind myself in 2013 to breathe when things seem to get too overwhelming.
I hope your first day in 2013 has been a relaxing one!
Send me some snow. NC has been cold'ish' and rainy.
ReplyDeleteI will remember to breath too. Sometimes it is hard!

Lol, I think I am like your daughters- Abby Lee & those moms are crazy and I just love that show :) My husband thinks I am nuts!
ReplyDeleteSorry your break was so short, I can totally identify with your OLW, especially without enough time to recharge :(
Happy 2013!!

Cute blog, LOVE the title! I couldn't agree more that break was too short! I think those in charge who aren't in the classroom took our three days away. I am having a difficult time adjusting as well :)

That stinks that you have such a short break! I need the next few days to recover from all my family's New Year celebrations! haha! I love your OLW- such a necessity! :)

Your break might have been shorter than mine. We went through Dec. 21 and go back on Thursday. I think they should be required to give us 2 full weeks.

My two girls love Dance Moms too! And Christmas break should always be at least two weeks! I thought that was an unwritten rule.

I am so sorry you had to go back already! We are off until Monday -and even then that is just a work day. Kids come back on Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to find your blog through Currently! I am your newest follower!

Found you through the "Currently" linky. Ugh, that is a short break, I feel your pain! I worked at a school once where the "Spring Break" was only Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - it was terrible! I hope you luck out with a snow day or two!
