Noooooooo!
I can't believe we haven't had a snow day all year and now that it's ISTEP week we're having a winter storm!! School hasn't been cancelled (yet) but 7-9 inches of snow are expected to fall by tomorrow morning. Really!? My students did AWESOME taking the test today! They seemed to think it was easy (I hope that's intelligence speaking and not ignorance). We have two more days of testing. I hate to have a snow day in between and ruin their momentum! Oh, well! Guess I'll have to make the most of my inevitable snow day! I've been working on a fun new product so if I am tomorrow I'm going to make the most of it! Here's a sneak preview...

My kids seemed to think our first day of ISAT was easy today too. We have had 4-6 inches, but we will def. have school tomorrow! I enjoy reading your blog!

We were watching the radar and news closely today too. I'm thinking we're toast. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same boat here in Northwest IN. I am not an ISTEP grade, but my son is. I can't help but still want a snow day though, we haven't had one yet either! :)

Second Grade is Out of This World!
I think I'm just south of you. We're supposed to get 3"-5", but sleet & ice first. They've already called a 2 hour delay. It's pretty messy out there. I hate to say it, but I wouldn't mind a snow day, either!

I'm in Indiana, too... we luckily had our ISTEP done before the 2 hour delay day on Wednesday, and didn't end up with a snow day. But we were worried! I hope it all worked out for you.
